VERY SCARCE WITH ONLY TWO INTERNET REFERENCES TO THIS MODEL

(To address some questions that have come up: this is NOT a version of the old 1980s GV Hunter, I built this up alongside two Hunters and the only things that are interchangable are the wheels and radio box. Absolutely everything else is totally different by a long way...it appears on the Tamiya Web-Site under RARITIES)

This buggy was stripped to the very last nut and bolt and re-assembled by a Professional Quality Control Engineer, Gunsmith and Model-Maker.

Where necessary parts were Painted, Anodized, Re-Blued or Powder Coated to ensure that this renovation was as good as it could be.

The OS .21 Max ABC SE-B engine has been totally overhauled. It is fitted with the original Liner, Piston and Rod assembly as there was no discernable wear.

The following parts were also re-built:

  • Clutch
  • Brake
  • Front and Rear Differentials
  • All Suspension Units
  • Suspension arms
  • Wheels

Bearing Bushes were changed to Sealed Ball Bearings throughout and stainless steel fasteners were utilized where possible.

Servos were changed for two Futaba FP-S148 units and a brand new 2.4Ghz Transmitter and Receiver are included. I completed the binding process and every function is crisp and clean. A new Traxxas battery holder and switch was fitted as there are no originals available. In fact, please note, that due to the complete lack of availability of spares I have restored all the original parts to the best of my ability.

This model was never supplied with a driver figure.

It is my honest belief that, due to the condition of the engine, running components, chassis bottom etc, that this buggy was assembled but had never been operated.
